This facility accommodates the warehouse and distribution requirements for L’Oréal’s Canadian operations. The office wing is highlighted by a curved glass wall offering views to an adjacent park. The program includes a day-care facility and employee recreation area, which are separated from the warehouse by a sky lit atrium.

The distribution centre contains large quantities of inflammables. Containment is achieved with a depressed floor slab, sloped from the loading dock, which achieved substantial economies. An A.F.F.F. foam sprinkler system was installed, with code equivalencies to allow the construction of an F1 building of this size.
