The world’s first rooftop production greenhouse. Lufa Farms is a hydroponic greenhouse producing fruits and vegetables within 8 km from downtown Montreal.

It makes use of an un-used roof top, and also reduces the heat-island effect. The design incorporates synergies between the building and greenhouse to optimize energy performance, and to allow it to be competitive with regular farms.
