MacDonald Dettwiler & Associates (MDA) facility underwent an expansion of more than 40,000 sq. ft. to accommodate a new clear span 12,000 sq. ft., 50’ high 100,000 class cleanroom including a 900 sq. ft. shaker pit and table, and 70’ wide rolling crane.

The expansion also included spaces for thermal chambers, ground equipment storage, a truck delivery bay with ISO 8 class cleanroom capability, and a circulation spine to provide flexibility for future growth.

In 2016, the spine corridor was extended as it was intended in 2011. This extension has allowed the construction of a new integration bay of ISO 8 class that houses a new anechoic chamber approximately 25’l x 25’w x 20’h.
