Driving Growth and Strategic Impact

As it celebrates its 65th anniversary, GKC Architecture & Design is entering a new chapter by unveiling a refreshed brand identity, a redesigned website, and a stronger position as a strategic partner for industrial and commercial projects.

This realignment, led by Fernando Lozano, CEO and Principal Partner, marks a profound transformation: rapid growth, expansion across North America (Toronto, Vancouver, and Los Angeles), new associates, and an offering that goes beyond traditional architecture services.

In the industrial sector, for example, automation, stringent regulations, and sustainability have significantly increased project complexity, requiring a partner who can think beyond the blueprints. In this context, GKC stands out as a leader and expert, providing thoughtful, timely recommendations that fully support clients’ business objectives and optimize project delivery.

Leadership Rooted in Collaboration

GKC’s rebranding initiative was grounded in a thorough evaluation of the company’s internal culture, with active participation of the entire team.

This inclusive process helped clarify and strengthen the organization’s core values—leadership, collaboration, and excellence.

These foundational principles now guide the everyday actions of the team, shaping how they work together, engage with clients and partners, and contribute to the community.

A refined and contemporary visual identity

With brand strategy support from Beauvoir and a visual and digital overhaul by Locomotive, the new identity reflects a modern, agile, and profoundly human firm. The design is clean and contemporary, embodying the ambition to bring clarity to complexity while blending finesse, elegance, and precision.

The colour palette combines calming blues, neutral tones, and rich accents to convey confidence, strength, and modernity. Fine-line graphics and typography inspired by architectural curves create a visual language that is balanced and structured.

This identity also comes to life through a dynamic new website, where visual rhythm and negative space showcase projects and reinforce the image of a strong, innovative, and forward-looking brand.

Spaces that embody GKC’s vision

This new identity is also reflected in GKC’s offices, particularly its recently redesigned Montreal headquarters, located in a former industrial building on Gary-Carter Street.

Designed to foster collaboration, creativity, and well-being, these open and bright spaces perfectly embody the company’s collaborative culture and commitment to innovation.
