    A new business vision

    Drawing on his extensive experience in the industry and his management skills, Fernando Lozano takes over the reins of the company and sets a new direction, including a strengthened design team.

    A wave of renewal

    The company welcomes two new partners, Normand Côté and Fernando Lozano. Its identity continues to evolve, becoming GKC Architects.

    New perspectives

    Jerry Coviensky joined M.D. Gross Architects in 1980, and became a partner in 1985. The following year, Richard Kaplin merged his firm, founded in 1981, with that of Morty D. Gross to form Gross Kaplin Coviensky Architects.

    Spevack & Gross

    Foundation of the firm 

    Morty D. Gross, together with another architect by the name of Allan Spevack, founded a firm of architects, first known as Spevack & Gross, then as M. D. Gross Architects. The firm, which specialised in industrial projects, enjoyed steady growth from the outset.
