  • Proposal Writer

As part of our continued growth, we are looking to welcome a passionate and detail-oriented Proposal Writer to our team.

This role is essential to our business development strategy. It combines strategic writing, layout, cross-disciplinary coordination, and a deep understanding of our clients’ needs. If you enjoy structuring ideas, working as part of a team, and directly contributing to the success of major projects, this position is for you.

    Responsibilities and Tasks

    Writing and Coordination

As a Proposal Writer, you play a role where writing serves strategy and teamwork. Each project begins with the creation of tailored technical and commercial narratives—whether to detail methodology, demonstrate understanding of the mandate, or highlight key team members and their expertise. Tone and content are adjusted according to partner requirements, following established standards and templates.

On a daily basis, collaboration is the guiding thread: you will work closely with the internal marketing, operations, and project teams to harmonize contributions and ensure overall coherence. From the first draft to the final preparation of proposals and commercial presentations, rigour and creativity go hand in hand. Data migration to contracts is also part of the process, ensuring a professional delivery consistent with our internal model.

Your role will directly contribute to bringing the organization’s ambitions to life, turning each proposal into a tailored, convincing offering.

    Proposal Process Management

As part of managing the proposal process, you will first analyze preparatory documents to identify key criteria. You will then develop detailed work plans and timelines to meet often tight deadlines. Throughout the process, you will ensure compliance with submission requirements—formatting, protocols, and pagination. Finally, active participation in debrief meetings after each submission will help integrate learnings and continuously refine practices.

    Strategic Support

The Proposal Writer is also responsible for maintaining an updated database of standard content, CVs, project sheets, and visuals. You will collaborate closely with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency and contribute to the continuous improvement of templates and submission processes.

    Candidate Profile

    • A university degree in communications, marketing, architecture, engineering, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in proposal writing or RFP coordination.
    • Excellent command of both French and English (written and spoken), to support all our offices (Montréal, Toronto, Vancouver, and Los Angeles).
    • Proficiency with office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and layout software (InDesign, PDF, Adobe Suite).
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
    • Strong team spirit, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
    • Experience in the architecture, engineering, or technical services sector (an asset).

    Employee Benefits

    • A hybrid work model, with a requirement of 4 days per week at the office.
    • 4 weeks of paid vacation and personal days.
    • Group insurance.
    • A great work atmosphere.
    • A wellness program.
    • Corporate events organized by our Fun Club.
